Hello,

I was admitted into UCLA class of 2016. I said yes, and I was reading the Provisional Contract. Well, what does an excess of C's mean?

I just finished school and throughout my entire year, I only had 1 C which was in calculus AB AP and I still maintained an overall un weighted gpa of 3.0. Do i still have to report my C? Am I in any sort of trouble of getting my admission withdrawn?

Please answer back! Thank you!

As long as you have a 3.0 unweighted GPA with that 1 C included, you’re not getting rescinded grade wise. “Excess C’s” mean something like 2-4 C’s, not 1 C. You’re ok if you only got 1. And obviously you do have to report that one C.

So it is a for sure thing to repor that 1 C? I was reading it over again probably for the 5th time…and it said to report if I get any D’s, F’s, or an excess of C’s. And from your statement, I have to report that 1 C? Even though it isn’t an excess amount?

Im confused >.<

What I meant by “report” the C was to provide a complete transcript to UCLA including that C.

I have two more questions

What does it mean by a significant drop in GPA? is it from like a 3.7 to a 3.5 overall senior year gpa? or is a 3.7 to a below 3.0 GPA overall senior year.

Secondly, do they only count a-g courses for unweighted?

my course list is

Concert band
gov ap
bio ap
calc ap
eng ap
marching band
and ASB - Student government

will all my classes count into my overall unweighted GPA?
