<p>Do I have a good chance at getting into UCLA Psychology? I have all A's in the Prereq's so far. Also, I'm in T.A.P and Alpha Gamma Sigma.</p>

<p>Upkeep a high GPA, write some good essays (aka, get them proofread by many people - namely, professors) and I’d say you have a great shot.</p>
<p>i got into ucla with a 3.77 in psych. i did lots of EC and i wasnt in TAPS. i also got all A’s in prereqs. you have a great chance of getting in.</p>
<p>I got in with a 3.8 TAP… but I had B’s in pre-reqs and no one proof read my essay. Read into that what you will but if you can get TAP you will be in 99.9%. If not… its still pretty high but depending on budget cuts it may be ALOT harder to get in with anything less than a 4.0 if you dont have TAP.</p>

<p>Do they count the GPA when we apply, or the GPA after we complete the fall semester?</p>

<p>Yeah, there was a thing in the daily bruin about how UCLA can handle the cuts for 2009-2010 but they will then need to restructure and may eliminate some classes (potentially limiting numbers of students who can be entered into each major.) The hardest hit though will be speciality areas and languages.</p>
<p>Did you all get A’s in physics too? That class is part of the pre=reqs, isn’t it?</p>
<p>Yes I got an A in physics, funny thing was I got a B in Psych 5 (General Psych) and a B in Biopsych as well and its my major! I got in though and all the other UCs despite missing a Cal Prereq</p>
<p>I have a C in one of the prereq’s 3.7 TAP. What are the chances of getting into UCLA?</p>
