yah the stamp on the envelope says 04/27/2009

i guess i have to call the finaid office tomorrow to ask them why i couldnt see regents scholarship and univ scholarship in my epal
i hope its just a mistake cuz i got the congratulatory letter in snail mail and it has my name and my ucla id on the letter.

Anyone receive a “declined” regents letter?

do they even do that?? you think they would as I think it’s quite an honor to get an invite.

carwatha… DAMN!

I hope so. I would want to know if I didn’t receive it. The suspense is destroying me. Do you think if I was invited to Regents, I’m probably going to get in? I still haven’t even gotten my admissions decision :(.

I have been chosen as a Regents Scholar!! Ahhh!!! So stoked.

HOw is everyone finding out about their acceptance to REgents

Yo F this.

I don’t know if I’m accepted yet, I don’t know if I won regents, and I have no idea what to check anymore.

NOTHING is consistent. All of this theory bull ***** about myucla, ursa, financial aid, online regents notification is totally inaccurate.

I like how everyone who won the Regents so far has financial need, i thought it was a merit scholarship. I sense a little bias, so I am not happy right now…
Having said that congratulations to those that have won it, I am not naive enough to think that I’m the only one who deserved it. Just unbelievably shocked…

EFC Zero! no Regents. I guess not everybody who had financial need won.

Hey Soccerdude,

I received the Regents Scholarship and I have no financial need. I did not even submit a FAFSA because I felt it would be superfluous. Of course, I am not declaring that there is no bias; just simply stating my own personal experience.

can someone please tell me how you find out if you got it or not…is it through snail mail?

ur supposed to get it both through epal and snail mail

i dont know why but theres something wrong with my epal. i got it by snail mail cuz i live very close to ucla, but when i checked my epal they havent updated my scholarship yet. But somebody already saw it through their epal even though they havent got the snail mail yet.

I received a letter from the Financial Aid Office at UCLA. In addition, you can also check MyFAO, which indicates fairly plainly if you have won the scholarship or not.

impossible. nearly. i cannot believe i got it! i was so set on berkeley, but now this is just murder. damn. i don’t think i will be sleeping for the next month. i can’t even concentrate in class because ucla and berkeley are always on my mind. this is brutal.

OH MY GOD I GOT MINE IN THE MAIL TODAY I JUST CHECKED!!! IT CAME IN A BLUE HORIZONTAL FOLDER!!!

BUT, i dont see it in ePAL or whatever, since it says my FA has not been calculated yet
"Important information for transfer students:
The Financial Aid Office has not generated electronic Provisional Award Letters (ePAL) for transfer students at this time. Please check again later and we will also notify you by email if generated. We appreciate your patience. "

Is this because the FA thing before read “Incomplete”? Oh well im a Regent Scholar so im happy haah

Woo hoo! Regents Scholar!

I got it too! Congrats to everyone who got it.
