Hey all, so I'm taking a non majors course over the summer at a cc and transferring to UCLA in the fall, I know you can report academic changes online but can you add a summer course on there, and would it negatively impact admission? As a side note, I initially thought there was a 86.5 unit cap for transfers but i called and the lady on the phone said there's no unit limit if you haven't gone to a 4 year. Thanks

I think that 86.5 unit cap applies only to Berkeley.

I’m sure you can report the course to UCLA through the website they have for admitted applicants. They shouldn’t have a problem with it.

Yeah there was a document I saw which made me question it, but the admissions lady cleared it up. And that’s what I’m about to do, just the evaluation process is tedious when your acceptance goes away haha. And what about summer classes that you are trying to add and not sure if you’ll get in? Because I’m taking a science series but part 2 starts in July and is waitlisted so I don’t know if I should list it. Hm I should probably call again before any changes. Thanks!

Eh, if you don’t get the class, just let them know. Shouldn’t be a problem.
