UCLA Rescind?!

Hey everyone, I got accepted to UCLA for CSE (computer science and engineering), but am afraid that my second semester senior grades may be too low… The provisional acceptance states the following:
"Complete your senior year program with the same high standards you have demonstrated thus far. You must complete the senior year academic classes listed on your application with at least a minimum overall unweighted B average.

You must notify our office if, in your senior year, you receive two or more C grades; you receive any D or F grades; or your class schedule changes. See “Contacting UCLA” section below. "

I got straight A’s throughout high school, including first semester of senior year (1 AP class sophomore year, 6 APs junior year, and 5 this senior year). However, this second semester, I think the worst case scenario would be straight Bs with one C, but more likely, 2 As, 2 Bs, 1 C. The C may go up to a B, but that’s the general thing there. Would I be rescinded? My concern lies mainly in the part where it says that I must maintain the same high standards that I have shown so far, in which case, would those second semester grades be a cause for me being rescinded?

One C will be fine if you have As to balance it out.

Maybe but you still have time to bring up your grades. Don’t slack off.

Do all your homework, go see the teacher after class, get a tutor, form a study group…
If you are sort of relaxing and having fun, think of how it would feel if you were rescinded…You will wish you had studied more…now is your chance.

It is sad when kids are rescinded when they slack. But usually UC won’t do it unless you get a D. Why do you want to risk your spot are you thinking of going CC first?

There’s still plenty of time - unless school ends in May - to get your grades very high up - even straight A’s.

I hope you were not afraid of word problems in your math courses. The wording specifies a threshold GPA as well as conditions on specific grades. You should be able to figure out if you will pass the stated thresholds and conditions.
