ucla rescind

Hey guys. I applied to ucla and ucb this fall with a 3.8 gpa in molecular biology. I got into ucsd, uci, ucsb so far. For winter quarter, i got a C+ in a prereq course, lowering my overall gpa to 3.7.

I called ucla a few months ago and the counselor said that I was supposed to maintain the same gpa, but she also said i could get a C and still be okay. Isnt this contradictory?

Do you think getting a C+ would be bad enough to get rescinded?

thanks guys.

from what I know its okay if you get a C as long as all your course are C or above…and maintaining a 3.0 GPA

ooh thats good news. but that seems ridiculously easy haha. Does anyone know people who got rescinded from ucla for getting a C? I’ve heard of a few cases…

No, you will not get rescinded with a C+.

You just can’t get a grade below a C for conditional admits.

If you heard a few cases of people getting rescinded for a C+ then you didn’t hear the whole story because that doesn’t happen.
