UCLA: Residence Plaza Electricity Experiment

For those of you living on campus, did you get invited to participate in this experiment? I'm debating whether or not I should do it.

I got it, and I am debating as well. I tried contacting them to find out if maybe they would cover partial costs of our housing if we participated, but they still have not responded yet.

I got it and accepted!

Eww. No I won’t accept. There’s a chance I can win a $100 voucher for ASUCLA. Lame… Plus, it may mean I have to live in a res. hall instead of a plaza. That’s what I got out of the emails anyway…

Huh? It said it will not change your housing…

I was invited as well but I dunno. I sort of don’t want to have to worry about my electricity use while at school…partly because I know it reveal will how bad of a person I am lol and partly because I just don’t want another thing to worry about I guess

I got it and declined.

There’s a thread about this in the UCLA forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/975510-ucla-housing-cutting-edge-energy-usage-experiment.html
