UCLA, San Diego, and Berkely

Anyone know my chances? Junior,

Extra curric
2 years Commun Service
6 years of painting
1 year of robotics
12 Ap/H courses (not counting senior year of course)

Grades
If im lucky this semes, about a 4.07 (do they round up?)
Havent taken the new SAT yet, but hoping for around a 2250

Any help would be appreciated, and i want your honost opinions.

I have similar stats, and based on what people have said about me, I would say you have (rough estimate):
UCB - 60%
UCLA - 75-80%
UCSD - 95%

that is assuming a 2250 sat score...your chances may be better at berkeley not sure but i am pretty sure they are really big on grades (so a weighted 4.07 W is kinda low for there), but not sure b/c a 2250 sat would be great just about anywhere.

That's pretty cool. Will i have a higher chance if i apply undeclared ( i have no idea what to be).

I honestly have no idea. Maybe someone else can help?

for UC's dont worry about loading the AP's they only take a max of eight for your GPA, then they're just crunching numbers. you got a good shot everywhere

Furi_kuri:

Too early to tell...

GAH!, i just realized that i calculated my gpa wrong and it should be at 3.875 ;_;, what are my chances now :(

Al;l three schools have an average GPA over 4.0. Class rank is very impt., must be in top 10%. So raise your GPA abit, do well on the SATs and you have a good shot.

No, the problem is, the highest i can get now is 3.875......

well say good bye to UCLA and Berkeley

...no im kidding you just need to do well on the SAT II's and SAT I's load up on EC's if you have time and write some good essays. With strong SAT scores UCSD looks good and UCLA and Berkeley are obtainable.

What are my chances if I'm trying to get into a bio major? Is the bio SAT diffucult and do they consider that also? (would it help to take Chem AP senior year?)

when it says they take a max of 8 APs/honors, is that by semester or by actual course (so is it capped at 8+ points, or 16)
