I know i should have started working on the supplemental essays already... but i have no idea about what to write for the first question... </p>
<p>"In your application you may have mentioned an extraordinary talent/skill or academic achievement. This may include participation in Junior Olympics, national debate competitions, recognition for musical talent, etc. Please take this opportunity to share with us more detailed information about the level of your achievement, depth of participation, and passion for this particular area."</p>
<p>i guess this prompt would be easy for people who have excellent ECs, but not me!!! i basically had NO ECs at all during high school... i was not in any club or competition... i was thinking about how i worked hard to get into the ELC program.. but im not sure if thats the kind of "academic achievement" ucla wants me to write about... should i skip this prompt or what?!!.</p>

uc GPA: 3.99 weighted: 4.33
rank: 6 out of 642
SAT I: 1970
SAT II: math 720 chem 680 (T.T)
in ELC program

<p>UCLA seems to be using the supplemental questionnaire for a variety of purposes including assessing talent, hardship, and other factors. From what I can tell, most students received the two-question supplement and the questions don’t always seem relevant to the students’ situations. Fill it out to the best of your ability and incorporate any hardships or talent into your response.</p>
