UCLA Supplemental Questionnaire

Only a small percentage of applicants receive the supplemental questionnaire, so MOST applicants won’t be getting it.

AskMsSun does that I fixate towards admittance? Would you say its more of a good or bad sign?

^What he said! I’m worried. lol

I don’t think not getting a supplement is necessarily a bad thing. From what I hear, they divide applicants into three categories. 1/3 are “in”… 1/3 are “borderline” (and get the supplement) and 1/3 are rejected.

It’s all so hard to figure out though. I have twins who are applying to many UCs (both UCLA and UCB)… one got the supplement from Berkeley and the other got it from UCLA. Both have had hardship (their dad died in June)… my daughter’s supplement addressed that and talent (UCLA), but her twin brother’s did not… Berkeley asked him about leadership. Go figure.

Btw I’m a girl lol and i guess that probably makes me the 1/3 that got rejected. Oh well.

Not getting the supplement means the admission decision is already made for you. Only those applicants whose admission decisions are not yet finalized are going through the supplemental questionnaire process right now.

^ So basically I’m rejected or accepted right now. Because of my test scores, I’m leaning more towards the rejected side. lol

Darn, I have a feeling I was rejected though. Oh we’ll it was worth a shot. Hey my friend also applied but she hadn’t sent in her fee waiver yet and she has until Friday. But would have not tuning in her fee waiver mean she was rejected?

MsSun, that wait is really tempting.

Can you guys pleaseee post your stats? I want to know what is considered borderline.
I am superrr nervous.

What are your stats?

@CaliCollege I got the supplement with a 3.95 UC GPA and a 2110 (730 R, 620 M, 760 W)

Sent from my SGH-T589 using CC

I didn’t get the supplement, but I did get a UC verification email where I had to get my boss to verify that I worked for her. Did anyone else get that?

Also, what do you think my chances are with a 4.0 and a 2020 SAT? My essays are also really good. I’m out of state.

@audrey13, about 10% of the UC applicants systemwide are randomly selected for verification. Anyone can be selected (in-state, OOS, int’l).

@AskMsSun‌ hi i didn’t get the supplemental questionnaire or a request to apply to an alumni scholarship… have i been rejected?
