UCLA TAP transfer

I am a current CC student and I am in the honors program at my school.

I plan to apply to transfer this coming fall. But in order to be eligible to apply with TAP, I must be done with most of my pre reqs by the end of the fall that i apply. I will be applying for the major applied mathematics and mathematics/economics. The problem is I wont have most of my pre reqs done by the fall, but instead im sure that they'll be all finished by the time I transfer. My gpa --if things go as good as planned-- will be 3.65/3.7

Would I have a good chance of getting accepted (or even applying with TAP, for that matter)?

I think you can apply,
but really you should talk to your cc counselor

It would help that your pre-reqs are done by the time you apply but it is not a requirement. As long as you have them completed by the end of spring before transferring you are good. Fall 11 avg GPA admitted was 3.63 for applied math and 3.69 for math so your GPA puts you right in the mix. With TAP you have a great advantage. Seeing as the major isn’t impacted you have a great chance of getting in.
