All stuffs in Japanese supermarkets are overpriced.

What's the difference between Mitsuwa and Nijiya over in Sawtelle?
[/QUOTE]
Those combos in Nijiya taste better... Of course you can't compare them to sushi bar...

Basically, what you want to do is drive down Garvey from Atlantic to New and hit places with ratings of B or more.

Stop being American; health ratings do not matter!

It's all about Garden Cafe.

:( I wouldn't recommend Garden unless you're on a budget.

I can use some recommendations.
It's always nice to try out new places.

What kind of food do you like?

I'm usually up for anything. But I've still yet to find a good, reasonably priced Japanese restaurant/sushi bar in SGV.

And any "must-eat-at-least-once-before-you-die" places.

I like Ton Ten Ko. I always look forward to eating there, but I just read the reviews and they're crazy-harsh. Totes not representative of my dining experience there; I feel like they reviewed the wrong restaurant.

I think it's worth a try, though.
