Does anyone get off the waitlist?
@Sssgh33 Oh okay, I heard that the first wave normally comes around the 4th to 6th, according to last year, so I assume that those who got accepted would receive an email starting tomorrow?

No not yet, i assume around 3-5 they would start sending out emails to those who got in

I don’t know how many people got waitlisted as a Financial Actuarial Mathematics, but I have hope! Are you confident with your stats?
My GPA is 3.86, so it’s not low but not necessarily high either for this school

It’s a very small pool of people who apply for this major, I checked last year’s stats and it said 21 admitted and 19 enrolled. I’m not sure if this number includes those from the waitlist though. And ooh, which UC are you transferring from?
I just looked it up and for 2016 your major has a 50 percent enroll rate so I think u have a good chance of getting in! I’m transferring from ucr after getting full ride for two years. I already committed to UCSD as an applied mathematics major, but I really wanna go to LA
Do you also know why UCLA accepted such little amount of students this year compared to last year? I don’t know for sure but I was just assuming there would be more students accepted from the waitlist because of it
I also SIR’d to UCSD!! But I would really like to go to LA or Berkeley, I’m on the waitlist for both

@OnlyPartly oooh hey! im trying to transfer from ucr as well. i only applied to LA just to see whether i have that chance or not lol, but also bc i’d be much closer to home
