UCLA Transfer Honors Program?

Is anybody else applying for it or is anybody currently enrolled in the program? How much has it helped you and what’s the rigor like? I’m assuming that UCLA is going to be difficult enough, so I’m unsure about pursuing the honors program there… I did some research on this but wanted to see if I could get anyone else’s thoughts. My goal is to go to grad school post graduation.
BONUS: Does it help with studying abroad?

The honors program at UCLA isn’t really known to be harder. It just requires you to take certain classes with writing requirements if I’m not mistaken. You won’t have too much of an advantage over students not in the program when it comes to grad school admissions–they care about other things more. I don’t know about study abroad opportunities related to the program

If you were accepted to UCLA, you shouldn’t worry too much about trying to get in. Honors program isn’t known for being a big deal at UCLA. I once went to that school and can testify to that fact.

Far more important than being in the honors program is getting to know some profs so you can get strong and personalized recs. As a 2nd order effect the honors program may offer some smaller classes and seminars where you get to know some profs just by the nature of the program, but I wouldn’t depend on this. Any UCLA student can go to office hours and get to know their profs. And of course you want to do well in your classes
