I got accepted as a sophomore transfer to UC Davis and I am thinking whether I should wait one year and apply to other schools and go to a UC as a junior or go this fall as a sophomore.

GPA: currently 3.5484/ by the time I apply the maximum it can be is 3.75
Major: Business
EC/ Good amount

Also, I wanted to ask the question if I do get a 3.75 GPA by the time I apply, is it almost impossible for me to get into UCLA as a Business Econ major? If it is impossible, can I apply as a different major and change majors(it doesn’t even have to be to Business but something related like Communications or International Relations) once I get there?
I am in Honors Transfer Program and will have TAP for UCLA… if that changes anything

Why did you even apply to Davis if you never had ANY intention of going?

whatever you do, don’t gameplay UCLA.

It wouldn’t be impossible, but it would be very difficult to get into UCLA biz/econ with a 3.75 (if you do end up getting it it up that high). The majority of accepted applicants had above a 3.9. Similarly, you can change majors after you are admitted, but the chances of that happening are not very high–in fact, switching into bizecon, econ, communications, or other highly selective majors is not permitted. TAP will give you a boost, but not substantially in getting in as a bizecon major.
