UCLA/UCBerkeley

I am an out of state senior and I am planning to apply to LSA of UCLA and UCB in a couple of days.
(Boarding school)
Stat-

UC unweighted - 3.83
weighted - 4.08 (our school only allows students to take a couple of AP classes, so it is obviously hard to get that weighted grade up.)

Sophomore - AP Chem
Junior - AP Bio, IB Pre-calc HL
Senior year - AP Econ, AP Physics, AP Calc AB, IB English SL
(More honors but they don't count since i am an out of state student).

SAT - 2090
writing - 770
Reading - 600
Math - 720

SAT 2 chem - 740
math 2 - pending

2 years of varsity soccer. 2 years of varsity lacrosse. 1 year of varsity track. leader and founder of multi-cultural asian club, Secretary of PRO club.

Math tutor, Chemistry tutor(paid), Tour guide, 100+ of kitchen work.

some school honors for academic excellence.

Essay - my college adviser said that both are pretty good. But if willing to read over my essay, I will be happy to send you both.

Q - should I take about my school's restriction on taking many APs on my third essay?

Do I have a good shot?(or no..?)

I think both are reaches, especially with your lower than average (for LA and B, at least) GPA and SAT. UCLA and UCB are very selective, so I would definitely recommend also applying to “lower-tier” UC schools like UCI, UCSD, and UCD. Also some private schools. What’s your intended major?

UCLA/UCB: reaches
Can you pay UC tuition/fees around $55k/year since OOS receive little to no financial aid?

Both are reaches.
Try UCSB, it’s a match for you

Chance back?

Both are going to be reaches. chance back?

i mean like i said. it is so hard to take APs at my school. for example, to take AP calc bc, i need a solid A in IB pre calc hl, and only 4-5 students out of 40 students got As. Like all AP classes have strict pre-requisite.
