Oooh, the classic Michigan vs. UCLA. I applied to both and got into both.

I used to lean towards Michigan. In fact, I'd say I would have went to Michigan almost all the way up to when I got accepted to UCLA. Far from home, excellent school with a great business program. But after I got into UCLA, I've leaned heavily towards UCLA. I've since realized much about UCLA that I hadn't known about earlier. The schools are very close in many areas...academics, athletics, social atmosphere...

My deciison: UCLA's better at my major (Econ), has awesome weather (it's SoCal, after all), and is cheaper. UCLA basically has what Michigan has, with the better weather and more NCAA championships. And for me, since I'm in-state, a cheaper price.

Honestly, the two schools are quite close...I based my decision mainly on weather, tuition, and fit. I feel that I'll fit in better at UCLA, and therefore I have decided to go to UCLA.
