UCLA vs. USC -- Narrative Studies Comparison

I always thought I wanted to go to UCLA, but as an English major looking to transfer in Fall 2018, I’m exploring some of my options. I discovered USC’s Narrative Studies major and would love to explore it, but I don’t know if I can get over some personal hurdles like being a Bruin legacy and SC’s terrible location (plus $$$); and even so, UCLA has a fantastic English program plus a ton of other programs I’d love to take classes in.

My question: does UCLA have any programs in creative writing, film, etc. that compare to USC’s narrative studies major? If so, are these programs just as cool as SC’s sounds?
