UCLA vs USC vs Emory

I've been accepted to UCLA and USC (both without financial aid), and waitlisted at Emory under the major of chemistry. I live in California, so it would be more expensive to go to the east coast for Emory. Should I even count on getting off the waitlist and being admitted there?

I have NO idea where to start, so if anyone can give me some input on how to narrow my choices down, that would be great. Some pros and cons would be nice.

Is money an issue? I would most likely go to UCLA since it’s the cheapest.

Emory and USC would both be expensive. Even if I had the money, I would stay in the Los Angeles area. There are advantages in attending a university in the region where you intend to work and there’s not a whole lot happening in the south. -.-

Yes, money will be an issue. I think I’m liking UCLA as it is!

@UCBChemEGrad hah if that video was meant to motivate me to go there, it did the opposite… that was just weird man!!

I would cross Emory off your list…you’ve been waitlisted, and it’s expensive.

I disagree about the comment on the south though. The south is actually a booming region right now.

Everyone wants to go to UCLA! Those that say otherwise were most likley rejected. The choice should be clear ;)

I’d go to UCLA, its incredibly good, cheaper, and I don’t think Emory or USC open doors UCLA doesn’t.

If you could go to Emory, then Emory. If not then UCLA
