UCLA is the smallest UC in terms of size, but the biggest in terms of enrollment.

With over 17,000 undergrads at USC, both have “huge” undergrad populations.

I absolutely despise the location of USC’s campus. UCLA’s campus is hands down better than USC’s, especially since it’s location is in the Bel Air, Westwood, Beverly Hills area.

Wow, u guys are great! Thank u so much :D

Ucla is definitely better. It’s in a better location, has more students, more majors, better programs, culturally diverse. It just an all around better school.

curryrocks,

LOL, what a sad post. I find it funny that you’re saying UCLA is “classier” while you are showing a lack of class yourself. Both schools are great and provide excellent environments for students, but UCLA isn’t significantly more classy or reputable. They’re both basically neck and neck. Ask virtually anyone who’s come down to the UCLA vs. USC decision (like myself) and it’s really difficult for most people. Both schools have their own advantages in certain areas but your comment about going to USC if you want to get shot off campus is just sad.

Mention USC to a bruin and they get mad. Mention UCLA to a Trojan, and they just laugh.

:rolleyes:

Please continue.

UCLA = UC Lots of Asians
USC = U$C
…

For me it would come down to money. USC looks expensive, but private schools usually offer a lot of aid. Both are great schools in LA, so their pretty comparable. Being private, USC might avoid monster classes and lack of personal attention.

Also, with the California budget problems, I know some state universities are expanding class sizes and making it harder to graduate in four years, though I’m not sure if this effect has moved all the way up to top UC schools like UCLA.
