Thanks @godzilla24 and lol seriously though! Other UCs have already started admitting from their waitlists and it looks like a lot of people from what I see going on in CC threads! Hopefully UCLA will also be taking tons of people because of that increase in freshman spots! I might also try to call when I get home…
Like I said, I think we will be hearing back the 6th, I dont think those two oos kids were lying.

I called and she said they’ve began notifying and will continue until June 1… But I don’t think anyone’s heard back. At least on here
@Masr98 that’s scary… It seems kid of odd that none of us have heard anything though. Hopefully the lady on the phone was wrong
I also called but the lady I talked to said that they’re still crunching numbers to see how many people off the waitlist they can take, implying that they haven’t released anything yet. She said to keep an eye out for e-mails around early next week! She was super nice and probably the most helpful/specific person I’ve come across during my calls.
Hi @Masr98, I am actually one of the OOS students who got accepted on the 30th that @godzilla24 is talking about! It said that we have until the 5th to SIR, and I am sure there are more waves to come after that!! I don’t think UCLA has ever just done one wave.

if they weren’t going to accept internationals off the waitlist, why did they put us in the waitlist in the first place? Ugh, i just wish they start notifying whether its rejection or acceptance. I’m so done waiting. refreshes my mailbox every 5 secs

This may have already been answered somewhere, but will they tell you if you didn’t get in? Or will you have to wait until June 1st and then assume if you don’t hear it’s a no?
They will tell you if you didn’t get in but it will be after all of the acceptances have gone out so probably near the end of May.
Some people got accepted literally on the last day. So no, there’s always a possibility of acceptance.

I’m not sure if it helps or hurts, but I received my waitlist acceptance from HSSEAS on Tuesday at around 5:00. I hope for the best for everybody here!
