Do you guys know if the amount of students in a particular school that decline the acceptance affects the waistlist turn over for that school?
Has anyone gotten off of the waitlist for engineering out of state?
@Acethegreat definitely not!!!
are they gonna start replying today? or when exactly is the deadline for people to SIR
I’m out of state (NJ) and I got off the waitlist on the 4th for engineering undeclared. I’m taking the spot, everyone else hold out hope!
It seems like all the acceptances, in state or not, have been for engineering
@crossovercuber So that means I am not getting in awesome.
it’s just so weird compared to last year where there weren’t any heard acceptances of people getting into engineering and now it’s just flipped lol
It is strange… I haven’t heard of anyone else except one person in-state and a few OOS getting off for L&S in this thread (none at my school yet, we only have a few people who are wait listed though.)
@sushicult wait who were the ones that got off for L&S
who were the L&S people who got off
@crossovercuber There were 2 OOS who got off in late April before waitlist started, if I can recall, and the in-state with the band appeal! That’s all I remember, no news, really.
Sorry if I worded weirdly! I meant the past people who got off in the thread, haha. As far as I know, there hasn’t been any recent L&S waves lately that I’ve witnessed. I’m getting concerned!
In the past L&S seemed to have the most acceptances off the waitlist which is what makes this year so weird and scary
@springbloom3 I know…! My friend speculated that maybe they have a lot of applications this year, but honestly I don’t even know what’s going on anymore. #-o
I’m keeping my expectations low, haha
but they are expanding their freshman class to 6,400 this year though
Guys, low-key, I feel like UCLA will heavily release acceptance notifications this week.
@Acethegreat but why lowkey though
@Acethegreat hopefully that’s true
@Acethegreat Same!! I just have a good feeling about it
@LowkeySalty I’m trying to say that ucla is trying to keep it lowkey.
