what time did u find out at
Oh haha that’s not affordable. Maybe… I found out this morning, about an hour ago
@Judy Zhang: I am a parent and I was clarifying what FA is available at UCLA. If USC gave you good aid, I am pretty positive that UCLA will not be able to match it.
@“Judy Zhang” what state?
Arizona
Just got off the Waitlist for Geology (Letters and science)!! I’m out of State.
@futurecalbear7 @“Judy Zhang” Congrats! Are you guys going to UCLA ?
Probably not. Too expensive. USC gave pretty nice scholarships
@“Judy Zhang” actually, UCLA does provide OOS students with financial aid. I talked to the undergrad financial aid office about this and they clearly stated that students with demonstrated financial aid will be eligible for grant money even if they are OOS(I’m OOS). So i wouldn’t speculate anything until you get your financial aid package!
I am not an expert on the FA for the UC’s, but I do know they will not cover the $23K/year OOS supplemental tuition, so you can expect at the minimum that this would be your cost.
Yeah! I’m going and I agree with @“Judy Zhang”. I received a 25K oos financial aid package so I would have hope until you see your aid package.
Looks like UCLA just released an out of state wave. Let’s hope in state is next
Oh man! I haven’t even figured out how to apply for financial aid… I’ll have to figure that out in the next week.
My son has been waiting on the UCLA Waitlist. Would they really wait until Tuesday, May 31st to notify students? I understand decisions would be made only through the end of May.
@WSR1967 I know other parents that are in your shoes with kids who in some cases have either SIRed to their second/third choice college or a will go to Community College if they don’t get off the UCLA waitlist. I certainly hope UCLA won’t drag it into June for sake of these poor families.
Just FYI, I was helping a friend from out of state and forwarded them information about the UC budget plans on
OOS financial aid. The information is on other CC discussion boards. This is UCLA so he still SIRed. But just be aware and do your research on the final cost for the next four years.

Where are the international acceptancesssss???
OMG! I GET IN!!!
I am an international student!!! And I thought I’m going to umich, but now it’s frustrating to choose which one!!!
Did any engineering majors hear back yet?
