I just want to say that I appreciate everyone who stuck together in this thread. I had some crazy mood swings this week and honestly this waitlist has been taking a toll on my emotional health. If any of us get in, I just want to say you deserve it! It’s been a strenuous month for all of us. Saying “everything happens for a reason” might be cliche and banal to some of you (even I’m doubting myself), but accounting all the experiences I’e heard online and from my own teachers, I’m certain we’ll learn to love the school we’ve SIRed to.

@Masr98 I can understand that. Well, this will be the week. And I’d tell your friend (if they don’t already know) that there is no priority or anything given to people who turned in housing contracts a week ago as opposed to on the 31st, as priority was based on initial application. @sushicult @loluclawhy16 If LA doesn’t work out for any of us, I’ll be seeing you all there as well.

My friend just got an email from UCLA admissions saying she will NOT be getting in from the waitlist due to a record number of enrollees. :,(

Just got off the waitlist to college of Letters and Science!! Major is physics. I’m also out of state. How nice is UCLA fin aid? I was going to USC before and they were pretty generous.
@Judy Zhang: UCLA will give little to no FA to OOS students starting this year, so plan to pay close to full costs @ $55K/year. Congratulations and hope UCLA is affordable.
