UCLA: Will my admission be withdrawn?

Hi I am facing a critical problem.
I have just got accepted to UCLA for the FALL 2005 however, they might withdraw my admission because I withdrawed a class this semester and I am only left with a total of 57 units instead of the expected 60. Does anyone know if UCLA will let me make up the units in the summer to fufill the 60 unit requirement? Or will they withdraw my acceptance? Any helpful replies would be much appreciated.

Hard to say I'm stressing out because I had two w's and everyone I have brought this up to including ucla reps tell me not to worry "as long as those classes I dropped do not affect my major or my 60 units" not too sure how important havinf 60 units is but everyone I have talked to has stressed the importance of that so I dunno I'd worry. Call them up and let us know what they tell ya.

My guess is that they will revoke your acceptance and encourage you to apply next year. I have over 70 units, which is "about right". Anything below 60 is usually an automatic dismissal, but you still may have a chance......go for it!

I'm in a similar situation. I think if all else fails, the only recourse is to beg shamelessly and hope for the best.

I've got to agree with BruinMichelle... Call them as soon as you can, and maybe they'll allow you to do summer school.

I'm home free ya'll I just called and they said that there are no changes to my admission offer even with my academic changes ie two w's this spring semester. I guess I'll see you all at UCLA fo sho now.

Glad to hear it all worked out for you.

that's great......I told you not to worry! :)

thanks again guys.

hope everything works out for you potential if not apply next year no biggie, you could do an internship or work that year.
