Can my acceptance be revoked? :(

so i got into ucla yesterday
this semester i am taking 12.5 units
i needed to only take 11 to transfer but i ended up taking a stupid aerobics class for 1.5 units
im getting As and Bs in my three other classes but because i have missed my aerobics class so much the teacher basically told me that i am going to get an F
i was wondering if you guys think this will revoke my acceptance to ucla and possibly cal?
the fact is it is NOT one of my 60 units, its transferable but i dont need it to transfer
and i missed class because a personal issue and my work schedule

thoughts please!

I reeeeally don’t think you need to worry about that! Although it would be better for you to drop than fail if at all possible.

It’s too late to drop :(

Then I wouldn’t worry. Talk to an admissions counselor about it. I’m sure they’ll tell you that a bad grade in aerobics isn’t a big deal, especially if you’ve already been accepted, unless it drags your GPA below the minimum.

I already did and she basically told me to fill out this specific form after I actually get my grade
I was just wanting to see what others thought as well
So I would love more feedback :)

… specifically the [UC xfer section](<a href=“UC Transfers - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/</a>) and ask the kid who’s a current UCLA student what you should do. He’ll answer pretty comprehensively with advice, etc, I’m sure.

You can’t bump it up to a low C and then have it show up as withdrawn-passed?

Drax12: ok thank you!
27dreams: sadly no :/

If you don’t totally fail everything, then you should be fine.
Revocation is not that common.

That’s what I thought
I am meeting with the dean of the dept this week and trying to change it to a W so I will keep you guys posted

Go to the teacher and ask humbly if there’s anything you can do to bring up your grade, even a little. No excuses, no defensiveness, just a heartfelt willingness to do whatever he asks.

Trust me I tried and there is no way around it
