<p>…on another note…D1 just got a 100K scholarship to another school. Could be a game changer as she was offered no merit at UCONN…I know UCONN was on her list of top choices. Maybe its time to revisit that big scholarship school and somehow make her put that back as one of her top choices. Either way because there are so many kids waiting to come of the waitlist I will make sure as soon as she decides to change her portal asap. </p>
<p>We are OOS. The wait list notice was on the portal, then letter came about a week later. My S took it fine. I’m the one on there (and here) every day stressing, not so much him!! He will do well and succeed wherever he ends up. They all will!! For such a large, prestigious school…not impressed so far. My neice went there and had a wonderful experience. </p>
<p>My portal updated to say that information is pending and I’ve received the campus email and the link to pay the deposit. Has anyone that’s been waitlisted been given the option to pay the deposit before they found out they were waitlisted??</p>

<p>@tarnur10 it was on the portal that original had your information. Kinda got our hopes up because it had that long statement about “if you got accepted blah blah…” unfortunately not. We withdrew our application as much as my daughter loves uconn she realizes that all this was to much. So it’s now UVM, PC or Ulowell. Good luck with everything.</p>

<p>My D just got into Storrs, I was getting a little nervous. What an unnecessary roller coaster ride!</p>
<p>This whole admission processes is insane. D1 has been accepted to Penn State, UConn, Rutgers (all engineering) and some smaller schools with great merit and has yet to hear form our own flagship UMASS… by the way she is top 5% of class. D2 rejected from UConn but accepted to Umass…I don’t get it. </p>

<p>Wait listed as well…im 1/10 of my friends to even get wait listed, they all got send straight to Stamford branch. Many people are very disappointed with Uconn from my school this year as my high school has already had the highest number of rejections(percentage based and at least 70 kids apply per year) from uconn in the past 8 years. </p>
