Well I got in and I know

I'm going 2 take the SAT again but UCONN wont get my scores till november, will that hurt my chances??

What is your problem with negativity. You obviously know nothing because my stats were lower than his and I got in. So what is your explanation?

did u get in last year, Do u think it will help that my app will be out the day UCONN puts it out.

Yes I will start on tuesday. You should put your application out as soon as possible. The sooner the better.

did u go 2 a really really good school?

No I went to a high school that had horrible stats. What made me stand out was the fact the I graduated a full year early and participated in multiple public speaking competitions from a school where academics are not number one.

listen you pompous a$$, i've worked with the admissions staff on more than one occasion, and have asked them what stats they look for in students...when you've been here for a few years, then you get the right to talk....until then shut your dumba$$ mouth.

Who do you think you are talking to? Learn who I am before you disrespect me. If you were apart of the admissions staff then you must be for giving students a chance despite their non valedictorian stats, if not then maybe you are the pompous a$$. Besides, your friends on the admissions staff obviously thought I was good enough as well as everyone else because the average gpa was 3.4 for the 2006 incoming class. I believe that is around an 86. So why don't you take your snobbish white boy attitude and shove it up your a$$.

hahaha, you moron. An 86 is not a 3.4. WOW! How did you get in? A 3.4 is around an 88/89. The difference between an 86 and a 3.4, when you think about it (I know it is difficult for you to even think, but give it shot), is the difference between a B and B+ average.

Is that your best comeback? You mean I waited 18 minutes for this? Uconn didn't accept me on the fact that I knew the gpa scale, is that why they accepted u? Get it together and stop using your few years of experience to put aspiring students down. Get a life and be positive.

Oh yeah raffi I wish u all the luck and I hope u go on to do great things. I'm sorry your thread has been used for this childish arguing. You have a great chance at Uconn and I will probably see you there soon.

Thank you for agreeing with me... you just pushed yourself into your own hole....just read what you copy and pasted. Also, you said 3.4, remember? Dude just walk away with some dignity....you are starting to make me feel bad for you, and I hate that.

B+ = 3.3 = 87-89
B = 3.0 = 84-86

What copy and paste are u talking about? I don't have to prove my intelligence to you. I'm a first generation college student from a strong black family. I don't need the approval of another snobbish "thinks he's on top on top of the world" white man. I surrender to your dumbness. If your were so mature and experienced you would not be arguing with me.

I'm sorry for arguing with u

What makes you think I'm white?

cmon guys, settle down. Will Uconn look at my 1st quarter senior year, or will they only judge me on freshman threw junior, with my gpa does it help at all that my junior year my avg was a 93, its my 9th and 10th grade which brings me down because i had a 82.5 avg.

They will look at the fact that u brought your grades up, not the fact that you started low.

Oh and omni, your not white?
