UCONN Class of 2020 Decision Thread- for Storrs location

oh nm it’s back to normal^^

Since my son is leaving tonight to go on a camping trip I’m going to try to not stress about this till at least Sunday when he gets back home. I’m sure I’ll fail at it but I’m going to try anyway! ;))

OK… so should we assume that the info will come out on Saturday or the 1st? What are your thoughts?

I would assume the 1st. Yes, it’s true that decisions came out on Fridays the last few years, but I assume that’s because March 1 was on a weekend. Since the 1st is a Tuesday, it could be then.
But I’m not a UCONN admissions officer–I truly have no idea! Either way, it will be within 4 days, everyone! Patience is key to sanity

I am becoming anxious!! Best of luck to everyone!! I have enjoyed reading these comments and knowing that I’m not the only one anxious!!!

From reading all these threads, my gut tells me we’ll all know this afternoon. Fingers crossed

I has been accepted to UMass Amherst and I’m now super anxious to know if I would get into UConn this afternoon ^:)^

@klossy same here. My S has been accepted to UMass Amherst too. And accepted student day is tomorrow…but we loved Uconn too. Hoping to hear today.

I thought they weren’t coming out until Tues?..

It’s just wishful thinking.

Does anyone know about the other campuses at UCONN and how they stand up to the Storrs campus? Also, can you start at one campus and end up at Storrs for graduation?

@wishfulmomma I beleive if you are not admitted to storrs, there is a possibility you can be admitted to the other regional schools. I know several people from last year who applied for Storrs as their first choice but instead was accepted to a regional school. From what I been reading after about two years at a regional school you have the ability to transfer to Storrs and can be transfered easily!! You can start at one campus and end at Storrs!!Hope that helps!! Best of Luck!!

Thanks! Good to know! My daughter’s stats are a little low comparatively, so I was just wondering - good luck

@wishfulmomma My SAT scores are way lower than the average however my GPA is higher so Im hoping for the best!!!

@wishfulmomma the other campuses are definitely considered to not be as good as storrs, but you can transfer easily after two years if you have the grades and, from what i understand, your degree simply says uconn and nothing about a regional campus on it!

Portals open. Decisions have been posted.

S was waitlisted. He is already into his first choice, Penn State, so not a huge disappointment.

Accepted to Storrs Campus!!

He’s in! Computer Engineering at Storr’s Campus! I am beyond ecstatic!!!

My S was wait listed
