That’s exactly what my daughter’s portal has said since maybe the 10th of February. She got her acceptance letter in the mail on the 12th. It still says that. It means they have already made a decision about your application and you will find out what that decision is in the upcoming days. That’s all it means.
@lexus22 That’s exactly what my S’s says tonight, and that’s new since this morning. @JerseyMom2022 Are you saying the portal message has never changed to reflect her decision?
Also, in the Financial Aid section, there is a new link: “New Admit Scholarship Acceptance,” and when we click on that link it takes us to terms of accepting merit scholarships.
Going back to my own college days, I worked in the admissions office at a big university. There were admissions reps who were assigned to the particular colleges within the university. I have a feeling we are seeing portal updates that are connected to specific majors. At UConn, the fine arts majors always hear first, which, I assume, is connected to portfolio reviews and such. I think (but admit I could be mistaken), that decisions are being loaded in batches as the various departments report them. I wouldn’t panic if you don’t see a portal change. My own son does not have an update but we’re exercising patience.
As we all wait for the portal changes - I have a question. About a month ago under the finances section in the Student Center, I noted that mine updated to “View Fee Bill”, " Pay Bill Authorize Users, Manage Payment Plan" etc. You click on the link but there no fees to pay at this time. Does everyone have that option with those links?

Is the portal not going to tell me my decision, only by mail?
