I got in northeastern and waitlisted at uconn. Which one do you think is better in business? According to businessweek the business program of Northeastern is better than UCONN`s. However, Uconn seems to be a more prestigious school overall. Please, help me decide.

I would go to Northeastern for business.

Don't forget that at Northeastern you are in Boston, rather than in Storrs. Also, you would get work experience through the coop at Northeastern. I would think that classes would tend to be smaller at Northeastern. I think UConn may have some stronger school spirit. Also, money may be a deciding factor, so you may want to look at your cost of attendance at both schools.

Tough one....both great programs...I got into both.... Northeastern has the co-op experience, but some choose to not do that and rather graduate in 4 years. Facilities are better at UConn, Northeastern has the better location...Both places have very good connections....I go to UConn business so I would be biased, but if you are out of state I would say Northeastern. Enjoy the city atmosphere!

I think Northeastern would be your better choice. It's a rising star and is qucikly improving in both academic quality and prestige.

I agree with Northeastern.

well, a few hours ago I paid my deposit for northeastern, so I guaranteed my spot, But I
m still considering Uconn and I want to wait to see if I can get off the Uconn waitlist. If I can
t get off, at least that won`t be a major loss for me.

Northeastern no doubt.

Well Northeastern did quite well in the new Businessweek Rankings and received an A+ for job placement. But only you can decide which school is right for you. BTW, it's still possible to do co-op and graduate in four years. The four year track has one six month co-op.

I stand corrected.
