UCONN Transfer Chances?

Stats:

Rank: 21/119
SATs: 1940
12 UCONN ECE Credits
In-state
Accepted last fall with a scholarship

I now attend Penn State, but my GPA is crap.
GPA: 2.87
Courses:
ECON 102 (3 credits)- B
CALC 110 (4 credits)- C
ENG 115 (3 credits)- B+
SPAN 003 (3 credits)- B
Business Seminar (1 credit)- A

I HIGHLY dislike Penn State and I'm so unhappy there, and it's really been affecting my grades there. My grades are greatly improving this semester, however I know that wont be able to factor into their acceptance decision. I want to go into the business school, but i think I'd even be willing to go in undecided. My friend also suggested that I apply as a freshman and then if I get accepted, say I already have some college credits. I think that would be wrong though. Chance me? Suggestions?

The transfer site says the business school requires a 3.3 GPA for most majors. I’m not very familiar with transfer admissions so I can’t really give you any guidance on this issue.

You have far too many college credits, particularly when you consider this semester’s classes, to apply as a freshman.

Could I get in undecided?

You are above the minimum GPA for ACES (undecided). I can’t really give any estimation of chances, and I don’t know how easy it is to get into a business major from ACES.
