Plain and simple this is my decision for colleges. I was accepted to these 3 colleges for Engineering. Every school has pros and cons but Wisconsin seems like a perfect fit for me. The bad part is that it's a plane ride a way and obviously out of state tuition (expensive). Penn State is also expensive but I would rather go to Wisconsin (but Penn state is easier to get to). Then there is Uconn- I am in-state for Uconn with a 3,000$ scholarship per year subtracted from the tuition. Uconn's engineering program is ranked like 80th when the other 2 are both top 20 engineering schools. It's a very tough decision for me so any input would be greatly appreciated...

What are the actual net costs to you of the three schools (net of non-loan financial aid and scholarships)?

It may depend on which engineering you want to do, specifically if it is offered at one school but not the other(s).

Connecticut: biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, management and manufacturing, materials, mechanical

Wisconsin: biological (agricultural), biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, engineering mechanics, geological, industrial, materials, mechanical, nuclear

Penn State: aerospace, architectural, bioengineering (biomedical), biological, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, engineering science, industrial, materials, mechanical, mining, nuclear, petroleum

If you want to do one of the bold majors, only two of the three schools have it. If you want to do one of the bold underline majors, only one of the schools has it.
