Hi I’ve recently been accepted to the regional branch of UCONN at West Hartford. I have a 3.2 GPA and 1800 on my SAT and 28 on my ACT, and I was waitlisted to Storrs. Instead of waiting till the end of May to hear my decision, I thought it would be easier to go to the branches because it would be a save on money and I wouldn’t have to worry about a big environment. I’m majoring in Business Finance but I am in the ACES program, which I don’t quite understand what that program mean now that I have my major picked out. My other question is how soon am I able to transfer the main campus? For me I really don’t feel any that there is any BIG difference into going to a regional branch because the education is the same but the classes are smaller and there are not much opportunities for college activities or parties. But I would like to hear what it is like going to a regional campus and transferring in later.
Thanks
