UCR Class of 2018 Pre-Business majors--Questions and Discussion

<p>Hey there! I'm Ruby.</p>

<p>I recently received a very generous financial aid package so I'm likely to be attending UCR and I'm very curious as to who else probably will be as pre-business majors. So a little input about that would be nice! :)</p>

<p>Also, I'm looking into the Pre-Business dorms. Do you guys think its worth it? It looks interesting but it's in Pentland Hills which is a bit pricey compared to the other residence halls...</p>

I’m also a pre-business major so I’ll definitely see you around. I honestly don’t know about the pre-business dorms though. I chose to do CHASS F1rst in A-I because I wanted to dorm with a friend of mine. Its really your choice and whatever you decide should be for your benefit, regardless of the cost. Though, I hope someone who has done that dorming program says something. I want to know what its like. lol =P</p>

<p>And yeah, I suppose you’re right… I should ignore the cost, when it comes to things like this… Hmm… Guess I’ll continue to look into those dorms! ^.^</p>

<p>Hi I ended up choosing UCR over some of my private schools because of the great financial aid too for business! Granted it was really hard passing up schools in the city but with the amount money I saved I could probably move there when im done with school lol. I’m debating whether or not I should go into Pentland or Lothian right now too! From what i’ve been hearing Pentland is super clean and nice, private bathrooms rather than huge communal ones, small group of people but really isolated while Lothian is more social yet older than Pentland but the rooms are slightly bigger. </p>

Hello! I’m an incoming freshmen at ucr and am going to be in pre-bus. May I inquire about your opinion of the program? Do you have any tips to offer? I have AP credit for both Micro and Macro economics and am wondering what this credit will fulfill. Lastly, did anyone here end up dorming in the pre-bus community? If so, please provide any info you have relating to your overall experience there. Thanks :slight_smile:
