UCR or CSU??

What is better UCR or any CSU?? (For bio)

If thats the case, then go to the one you'd feel comfortable at. It doesn't have to always be "UCR is better than most if not all the CSUs", it's about where you can perform better. UCs have a better reputation for sciences, and UCR can hold its own in that case. However, if you would prefer going to a CSU for other reasons, go for it so long as you feel you have an environment which enables you to succeed better.

In terms of reputation, (I know this is not always the most important thing), which systym is better...... In other words, is UCR (a less reputable UC) more reputable than "the best" CSU?
THANKS

Go to CSU cuz you'd prob get owned hard in UCR writing classes.

Well the "best" CSUs are known for engineering, business, and architecture, not biology. Biology is a generic degree that you can get from any university without bearings on your career provided that your grad school is good (aka your undergraduate school doesn't matter).

So the top csu schools are: Long Beach, SDSU, cal poly. But like it was said, they're more oriented towards business.etc. Not what you want.(bio)..

definitely UCR for biology; as a research university, there will be more of these opportunities at riverside.

I actually took a top CSU (Cal Poly SLO) over UC Davis for bio. I thought Cal Poly had more opportunities for undergrads and was a lot cheaper. I'd visit all of the campuses that you are considering and then make a decision.
