UCR to UCI for Sophomore year

I want to transfer to UCI from UCR by my Sophomore year
Is it possible to transfer in one year?
I’ve been feeling really suicidal at UCR because of many reasons and I’ve talked to people and seen psychological services but they made me feel worse because all they can do is just listen to me.
UCI is closer to my home and I want to go to UCI so that I can stop feeling so suicidal, because I was so close last night.
I’ve tried researching and talking to my academic advisor but they wouldn’t really give me clear information and I am super confused.
Can someone please tell me some good detailed information?

You need 60 semester/90 quarter units by Spring 2018 to transfer from UCR to UCI. Also you need to have all required major prep and GE courses completed by Spring 2018. What major?

If you are having mental health issues, you should first address these issues. Most likely you are looking at another 1 1/2 years at UCR if you want to do a UC to UC transfer.

I would consider attending a local community college near your home and then transfer into UCI. If you complete a minimum 30 semester/45 quarter units at a community college and meet all the transfer requirements you can TAG into UCI.

TAG= UC Transfer Admission Guarantee.
