Hello,
I am currently a senior in high school that is planning to attend UCR in the fall, and was wondering what the chances are for being able to transfer to UCLA or UCB after one year? My major is psychology and the only reason I am planning on attending UCR is because I was not accepted to any of my other choices this year. And I guess my second question is weather transfer schools look at your high school transcripts for college transfers, or just your college transcripts. Thanks for your help.

GE and pre-req's for psychology usually take two years. Trust me, one year may be possible, but not wise.

Just wanted to add a few more bits of information to make things more clear. I am really intent on transferring after one year if it is somewhat manageable, but at the same time I am trying to be realistic in how difficult it will probably be. I would be open to taking a few more courses my freshman year if it would give me a better chance at transfering. I am not sure if it is relevant, but I have taken several AP classes in high school and hopefully that will help my cause. I took AP Calculus AB and AP Lit. jr year, and AP Psychology, BC Calc, and Comp. Lit this year. Thanks again for all post and suggestions.

i would suggest u go to community college instead...
