Hey guys, I just got my financial aid package. Can someone explain to me what the UCR grant is? Is it the Blue and Gold?
Edit: I also don’t have Cal Grant listed

@Classboy you tagged and got rejected? Did you meet all the requirements?
It’s a bit scary to think that at this point it could be a rejection. Psych major with a 3.4 And all Coursework done… I see that many people already got in.

I don’t want to be that guy lol. It’s just worrisome at this point.
@CAHLOS what if they are taking their time or better they did not choose to reject you just yet and trying to see maybe they can squeeze you in yaknow or else if it was a rejection they couldve just rejected alot earlier…
@CAHLOS Don’t worry dude, I don’t think the timing of the decisions is an indicator of whether you’ll be accepted or not. You could very well be accepted on the last day. I know it’s hard but try not to worry!
Hello! For those of you who recieved your admissions letter in the mail, was your financial package also in there?
@TatianaF you can actually just view your financial aid package online, on RWeb. UCR sent me an email when it was available to view.

They sent Financial Aid offers in email. But I was suprised because I am currently receiving CalGrant B but UCR put me in CalGrantA. By the way, the WorkStudy is smaller than what I thought. 
I just received the following email but my admissions decision is still pending: "Dear X,
Congratulations on your admittance to the University of California, Riverside! We are delighted to have you join this great university. We have made available your preliminary financial aid award for the 2019-2020 Award Year to assist you with this very important decision. "
I can see the whole financial aid they offered on R’Web. But I haven’t been admitted yet! Has this happened to anyone else? I’m thinking that maybe the financial aid offer doesn’t have anything to do with admission? But then why would they say congratulations on your admittance!? So confusing…

@knockemout I got the financial aid email first, and then my acceptance popped up in the portal a couple hours later.

All my prerequisites weren’t finish so I’m not all that surprised. I’ll reapply next year maybe if I don’t get into my other schools
