Still waiting for UCR, my GPA is 3.8 ?
I received a message in my portal saying “we have recieved a number of applicants from around the world and are reviewing them now”. It also says that if I get that message to contact admission. Oh boy.
Now it changed back to “still being considered for a decision”… what? T
Same! I saw the acceptance a few hours later!

Has anyone else not received a decision yet? I submitted mine on the deadline so I expected it to take some time, but not this long :neutral:

Still waiting as well (comp engineering major), submitted mine on the day of the deadline. Do they usually go by when you submitted your application?
Curious…do any of those still waiting for a decision have credits from an out-of-state institution? I figure that’s why mine is taking so long? But who knows? it could be many different reasons
Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I have credits from 2 out of state institutions which I’m sure slows down the process.
@holatomm I have some credits from two out-of-state institutions, but I got accepted yesterday. But I am sure that will take longer than others.
I still haven’t gotten notified from UCR yet but I did get into UC Irvine. I just wanted to bring everyone in here my best wishes, as every one else has been this and last month, my butt cheeks have been clenched harder than a mom’s fists during the birth of a newborn. I’ve only really kept track of this thread and its really helped me get through the wait so thank you all, really.
Here’s my Character Build
Major: Mechanical Engineering
GPA: 3.61 (if i ace everything this semester)
Prerequisites: Will be finished this spring
IGETC: Completed this spring
TAG: UCI BOIIII
EC’s: Secretary of Poli Sci and Astrophysics, I’m also a pro at eating and crying.
Acceptances: UCI and Cal Poly Pomona
Denials: SDSU (ehhh)
Pending: UCR, UCSD, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, CSUF (waitlisted but whatever lol)
I also hope to bring some peace of mind to those that are in my situation, as I had previously spent a year at an out of state institution prior to attending CC in state. At said institution, my gpa took a fat face plant and I have been working up ever since a 2.4 from the first semester.

@ricehappy10 Congrats on your acceptance! I also got accepted to UCI(tag) and UCM for Bio/biochem with 3.7 GPA.
However, its funny that I hadn’t heard a thing from UCR. I have no credits from out of state CC.
Also, are you from SD? just to clarify if you are a local appli. to SDSU.
nah im from Murrieta, and my out of state was a university at which I just didn’t feel the atmosphere to keep me driven.
