UCR Transfer to UCI

I am going to be a Freshmen at UCR- majoring in Chemistry and I had previously applied to UCSB but got denied due to my low test scores.
I want to transfer to UCSB because, i love the campus and I want to be away from everyone
They also offer a degree which I really interested in-Pharmaceutical Sciences
What do I need to do in order for me to transfer here?
How many credits do I need?
Which academic year could i transfer here?

Um. UCSB? Or UCI? Either way, UC to UC transfers RARELY get accepted but it’s possible. UCs accept third year transfers, so you need at least 60 semester units or 90 quarter units. You’ll need to keep your GPA up, do ECs, etc. Talk to a counselor.

However, you haven’t even had one semester/quarter at UCR… Don’t dismiss the school so quickly. Join clubs, participate in on campus events, and so forth. Give the school a chance and wait at least a year before deciding you want to leave.

UCI also has the Pharmaceutical Sciences major and UC to UC transfers aren’t common or uncommon. Just get a high enough gpa

I know but my dad worked there for 15 years i dont like the place at all
Im only going because of the financial aid package they are supplying me or else there would be no other reason for me to go there
They have no major which i want to major in

I know i want to either go to UCI or UCSB
