UCR vs. Cal States

<p>Hello,
Currently I have only recieved acceptance to UCR and Cal State LA, still waiting on all the other Cal States and UC's. </p>

<p>I probably wont get into any other UC's (if I did, I would definitely go (UCSB, UCI or UCSD)). But I will probably get into most of the other CSU's, except SDSU(already declined) and Long Beach (still a possibility).</p>

<p>I was wondering what everyones opinions were on which school would be smarter to go to between pretty much any of the Cal States(like Fullerton, Northridge, San Marcos, San Bern, Dom Hills) and UCR for a Business major.
If you could order them or something from best choice to least that would be great. And any reasons for that as well would be greatly appreciated. Thank you</p>

<p>Eh...I'd rather go to a CSU then UCR for the simple reason that the city of Riverside SUCKS...</p>

<p>yeah that is what i am debating too. but as for the school what does everyone think? i was also thinking about living elsewhere and commuting. it'd prob be worth it to me.</p>

<p>ucr for business is good. i'd go there for business, but i'd hate to live out there. i'm extremely surprised you havent heard from all the other schools, they should have already let you know unless your a transfer student.</p>

<p>yes, im a transfer student. so that is why for the UC decisions i think. kind of annoying though. and for hte CSU's i just barely sent in my transcripts.. so i know thats why. </p>

<p>I would rather go to one of the Cal Poly schools (SLO/Pomona) over UCR. :rolleyes:</p>

<p>I'd go to UCR over CSULA. I hear think business is one of ther better majors at riverside.</p>

<p>UCR. If you're considering accounting, though, then CSU Northridge. CSUN has the highest ranked accountancy program in California. (My dad went there.)</p>

<p>i think they are one of the more selective csu's, atleast for business i think. along with long beach. and cal polys of course.</p>
