<p>Verizon Fios fastest connection is 50Mbps.</p>

<p>I noticed after a while that the speed limit was coming from the servers, rather than our connection - </p>
<p>I hit 20 MBps (160 Mbps) once while downloading Windows 7 from the Microsoft website</p>
<p>lol I know is that i’m definitely taking advantage of the internet speed (dl blu-ray movies, music,etc)</p>

<p>Use direct-download based sites or free usenet and you’ll be fine.</p>
