Hello, I am a senior who has lived in California for almost 9 years but I am still under a f-2 visa. My family is currently applying for green card which could take as long as another year. I already applied to UCs and CSUs as an international student but I have heard from someone that if you lived in California for more than 5 years, you could qualify for the in state tuition even if you are not a citizen or a green card holder. Is this true? I have been searching the web, but I could not find anything. The schools I have been admitted to are Cal Poly Slo and UCSD. Thank you.
See if this document helps there is a section for non citizens.

It seems like I do qualify since I have attended all 4 years of high school in California. Thank you!
