After accepting the SIR from a preferred UC or CSU, is it required to deliberately choose ‘Decline’ for all other accepted universities before May 1st?
Will those automatically considered as declined when not responded by May 1st?
It is common courtesy to decline any acceptances after SIRing to your choice school so I would spend an extra few minutes and decline those UC/CSU acceptances. If enough students decline their acceptances early, then hopefully students on the waitlist may start to see some movement. Definitely not a 1 for 1 but every little bit helps.
