@markieblais I just logged in to say the same thing! Except I’m not at work, I’m on my way to a 4-hour Cinema class. I don’t think I’ll be able to sit still.

Just nervous because I returned to college last year after almost ten years away. Hoping I did everything right re: the transferring of credits from multiple out-of-state schools and that I meet all the requirements. I also had an abysmal record at my old University but I was able to get those grades wiped out via Academic Renewal. Since returning last year I’ve done well (GPA: 3.85). We’ll see how much they consider the old record, if at all. I think my essays were solid as I focused on my experience working as a union organizer during my time away. 3 PM hurry!
To deepen everyone’s anxiety: last year they said decisions would be released at 3:00pm, but decisions were actually released at ~2:00pm. Praise be to neuroticism.
I’m on spring break, so i’m binge watching lost until 3 pm.
Major: Economics
GPA: 3.92
IGETC: Done Fall 2015
Major Requirements. Finishing Spring 2016
4.0 in my finished major requirements & doing well in spring classes to keep it.
Essay Solid 7-9
So if we did TAG, and have over the required 3.2 GPA (I’m at 3.59), and have 60 units (with prereqs all done) do we really have anything to be nervous about here?
Only reason I ask is because the amount of anxiety people on here have that say they did TAG and have 3.5 GPAs is starting to really make me wonder haha
My only concern is that I fucked something up on the application process. But everything I’ve been told by counselors tells me that I have no reason to be concerned about this decision. I hope that’s the case
I’m hoping they let all the TAG people know today. That should be the easiest applications for them to get out of the way because it should be very black and white
@Philosoup I don’t think anyone should be worried about which day. From last years thread it seems like UCSB releases rejections and admits at the same time. Unlike other schools who go admits first then wait list then rejects
I just had a vivid dream that involved me checking on here and on the admissions portal and finding out my decision. What is this nonsense? Is this a dream?
