I’ve been rejected everywhere so far. I have a 3.95 UC gpa, 2240 SAT 1 and 800 on both my subject tests i hope i get in.

when you say “UC gpa” what is that? weighted or non?

stacyme15, it’s my UC GPA, so yep, weighted.

meteman, I think you look pretty good for UCSB…

okay…thanks attic… I’m so freaked out, too. I have 4.3 UC GPA and AP 5, 4, 4, 3, and ACT 31…rejected at UCLA and UCSD…I need to get into UCSB!!!

stacyme15, I think you have a good shot…I have around a 60% chance so there’s still hope…let’s both cross every appendage of our bodies and hope for the best.

yep…already doing that…UCSB is my first choice, and I can’t wait any longer to find out.

I know…one more rejection and I’ll literally break down and cry…

Ugh I sound so whiny…please please please UCSB…

I will, too… we’ve worked so hard only to keep getting rejected.

It’s ok it’s almost over…we can do this!

@Meteman

Where have you been rejected? With your stats, you will be accepted someplace just right for you! My DS applied to 7 school and got 3 rejections in a row, followed by 3 acceptances. He awaits one more. Be patient and let us know how it turns out!

We have no choice I guess.

ughh i hope i get in. i have a 3.88 UC GPA and a 1980 SAT. im prayinggg

4.0 UC GPA and 2080 SAT…How am I looking? Rejected from both LA and SD :(

I’ve heard that the UC schools have recruited out of state kids more this year than ever before because of budget cuts. I think it’s hurting us more that we thought it would. Even with great grades and test scores, no one is guaranteed anything this year.

I know right? Ugh…these past two weeks have been so heavy :(

I was accepted at the top applicant reception, but going to UCSD :D

accepted to two ucs
rejected to two ucs
waiting on two.
oh the suspense

Jesuis…perhaps saying that right now in this room isn’t the best idea…

JeSuis,

Hope you like UCSD. Based on my informal survey of grads from both schools I can tell you at least 95% of the UCSB folks absolutely loved their college experience. The UCSD grads were very lukewarm about their college years. Mostly along the lines of…“It was OK…”

errggg 3.73 and 2060 ! GAH.
