<p>hey everyone, please can someone help me!</p>

<p>i'm from the UK and am hopefully going to Santa Barbara this year. I have to apply for housing by the 1st June and am looking at the options, but i'm well confused, obviously i cant see it in real life til im there, so i was wondering if anyone could advise me a little bit.</p>

<p>I want to apply to live in the most social outgoing party animal residence hall basically. Anyone got any info on which one is best for this, also any other benefits of different residence halls would be great. Also, what are the single student housing apartments like, are they as social as the residence halls?</p>

<p>No idea which housing block parties more but a few of my friends were at Santa Barbara for a J1 a few years ago and they used to party with people at the uni very often. They said it was a cool place.</p>

<p>It doesn't really matter which residence hall you choose because all the parties occur in the surrounding area of Isla Vista which consists entirely of apartments.</p>
