It would be appreciated if you have transferred to UCSB as an out of state transfer from a community college to converse about correct course scheduling and GPA requirements.
Not a student or OOS transfer but hopefully I can give you some information.
First, you need to know that being an OOS transfer, you have the lowest priority. In-state CC transfers have priority (especially TAG applicants) followed by UC to UC, CSU to UC and 4 year in-state private transfers.
Second, you need to figure out how your current courses articulate to the required transfer courses. I suggest you keep the syllabus of all courses you have taken so you can get an accurate accounting of which courses will meet the transfer requirement.
The in-state applicants use assist.org which lists required courses for each target school. You can go onto the website and select a community college such as Santa Barbara City with your target UCSB to see the required courses needed for in-state transfers. Then try to match your courses with the assist.org courses.
Here is a link by campus/major and transfer GPA to help determine your GPA target: https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major
Best of luck.
