hi guys, I recently got accepted int UCSB, UCSC, and I'm kind of stuck between the two on which one to go. I like UC santa cruz because I live in silicon valley and about 40min away from UCSC, so I can go home whenever I want, but same time experience the college life. UCSB is about 4 hours away and it's a much better school for partying and just overall the college life. Which one do you guys think it's a better option for econ major?

Are you majoring in Econ AND Accounting for UCSB?

no just economics

Econ is a great major at UCSB and the big firms all recruit there, but I don’t know how it is at UCSC so I can’t speak to that. I think UCSB as a college experience can’t be beat, but I know those who like UCSC as well. The campus personalities are different. I suggest you visit both again and see what feels best to you.
